With the birth of our own little pony rider last spring, we decided to skip a year of breeding.  Instead, we have enjoyed watching her pet and ride the horses....... she is not even afraid of the 17hh stallion, and he is very sweet to her pats.  She has already gotten her first blue ribbon in the lead line class, and we look forward to teaching her many different disciplines as she gets older.

Even though we didn't foal out any babies this year, sometimes you see one that is irresistible.  Such was the case when our friend Martha and I laid eyes on Max.  He was the sweetest colt with the cute Appy blanket on his fanny.  We saw potential in him.... now he just has to grow into it!
