Drafts

Warrior Princess (Sadie) is a Reg. American Cream Draft mare. She is 16.1hh, 1993 model. She is a gorgeous classic cream color, in excellent shape, and easy to handle. She is a broodmare only, and is shy but sweet. She is "low man" in our herd and tends to be a loner, but is an easy keeper. Very polite and respectful.

Legendary Blues Man is a 2008 reg. Spotted Draft colt. He stands approx. 15.3hh (and growing). He is a pet, loving pets and scratches. I have saddled him but not ridden, and hooked him double to a wagon for a drive. He is easy to handle and does not know he is a boy. Scheduled for gelding in the near future.

The Ides of March (Caesar) is a splashy 2008 bay and white colt. He stands about 15.3hh, and is built very nicely. He has an 11.5" cannon bone. He is a sweet boy, easy to catch and handle. I have saddled him once; he is ready for a career. He does not know he is a boy, and is scheduled for gelding this spring.

Black Magic Woman (Elvira) is a 2009 black draft cross filly. Her sire was a black and white Spotted Draft, her dam is a bay and white Spotted Saddle mare, so she may tend to throw spotted babies. She is chunky and pretty, standing about 14.3hh. She is a nice girl, easy to work with, and took to saddle with no problem. I have ridden her lightly without incident; she is ready for finishing.

Trail Dust's Champagne Taste (Cristal) is a 2009 filly, the product of an American Cream Draft sire and a buckskin draft mare. She is cremello, blue eyes and all! She has a sweet, willing attitude and gets along with everyone. Cristal stands about 15.1hh right now. She has been handled since birth, and accepts everything, so will be easy to train. With her unusual coloring and the ability to have bucksin and palomino babies, she is a rare treasure!

Skittles is a 2001 reg. DCBOA draft mare. She is a great riding and driving horse, and I use her to train other driving horses. She has been on numerous wagon trains and parades, and is not spooky or silly. She stands 16.1hh. Nice mare and a good mother. Looking to sell with her teammate Snickers.

Snickers is a 1997 reg. DCBOA draft mare, and driving mate to Skittles. She is also a nice driving mare, having been in parades and wagon trains. Not spooky in harness, and the one time that I did ride her, she was nervous in a crowd and excellent by herself. She produces great colored foals and is a good mother, and stands 15.3hh.
